FINAL DEDICATION OF YAMORANSA MODEL LAB 8.

On 1st March 2022, the Prestea Huni Valley Municipal Assembly organized the final dedication of the Yamoransa Model laboratory 8 (YM LAB 8) at Bogoso. In attendance was Hon. Isaac Dasmani (MCE PHMA) Mad. Mary Vida Kwofie (Municipal Education Directorate) Mr. Japheth Aryiku (Helping Ghana Foundation) Deborah Rose (President Helping Africa Foundation) etc.

Speaking at the gathering Hon. Isaac Dasmani thanked the formal Member of Parliament Hon. Mrs. Lawyer Barbara Oteng Gyasi and those who founded the project. He said it was an interesting journey as it was his first project since he took over as the MCE. he pleads with the caretaker to let them know if some of the machines are damaged so they can be replaced immediately. So the purpose can be achieved.

Mad. Mary Vida Kwofie appreciates the MCE helping the Africa foundation, the implementers’ tech aide, friends of Yamoransa foundation, the municipal engineer, and the contractor for bringing this building to existence. Since we started operating YM LAB 8, programs have been organized daily to improve their creativity, the training includes contributing ICT facilitation and stems education to over 14,000 students and their teachers under a well-planned timetable, training of catchment area headteachers on the multimedia to aid teaching and learning. Every school in the catchment area is eligible to pay 50ghc every month and schools out of the catchment area are authorized to pay 50ghc every year.

Dr. Deborah Rose (president of Helping Africa Foundation & friends of Yamoransa Foundation) held that their dream is to establish more labs in the country and these is their 8th ones their wish is that all the student in the country can learn computer and how to operate robots
