The initiative was carried out in\ncollaboration with the Rebecca health outreach Programme, under the Rebecca\nFoundation with a team comprising of medical doctors, laboratory, technicians,\nphysician assistants, dentists and nurses drawn from the University Of Ghana\nMedical School.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"712\" height=\"457\" src=\"http:\/\/phma.gov.gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/WhatsApp-Image-2019-09-05-at-03.41.57.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1448\" srcset=\"https:\/\/phma.gov.gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/WhatsApp-Image-2019-09-05-at-03.41.57.jpeg 712w, https:\/\/phma.gov.gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/WhatsApp-Image-2019-09-05-at-03.41.57-300x193.jpeg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 712px) 100vw, 712px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The screening exercise sought to provide safe and\nproper healthcare services to the aged and other vulnerable groups with much\nfocus on women and children in these remote communities to improve on their\nhealth and bring joy to them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"712\" height=\"467\" src=\"http:\/\/phma.gov.gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/WhatsApp-Image-2019-09-05-at-03.41.08.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1449\" srcset=\"https:\/\/phma.gov.gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/WhatsApp-Image-2019-09-05-at-03.41.08.jpeg 712w, https:\/\/phma.gov.gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/WhatsApp-Image-2019-09-05-at-03.41.08-300x197.jpeg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 712px) 100vw, 712px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Residents from Aboso Bremang, Obengkrom, Besikrom and Yawkrom who benefited from the exercise were diagnosed and treated for blood pressure, hypertension, blood sugar level, diabetes, hepatitis B and malaria among others. Drugs were given to beneficiaries to aid the treatment of various ailments diagnosed; food was also given to them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"712\" height=\"513\" src=\"http:\/\/phma.gov.gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/WhatsApp-Image-2019-09-05-at-03.41.10.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/phma.gov.gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/WhatsApp-Image-2019-09-05-at-03.41.10.jpeg 712w, https:\/\/phma.gov.gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/WhatsApp-Image-2019-09-05-at-03.41.10-300x216.jpeg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 712px) 100vw, 712px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Municipal Chief Executive of the Prestea\nHuni-Valley Municipality Mr. Mozart K. Owuh who graced the occasion disclosed\nthat the medical outreach initiative of the MP has already covered 16\ncommunities with over 1200 people in the constituency being treated.
