Samuel Abu Jinapor together with his deputies, the Minister of Works and Housing, Hon. Asenso Boakye, the Western Regional Minister Hon.Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah and the Chairperson of the Governing Board of the Minerals Commission, Hon. Barbara Oteng-Gyasi has visited the people of Appiatse to ascertain the ongoing works at the resettlement site on Wednesday, the 25th day of January 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hon. Jinapor used the opportunity to disclose to Nananom and the community that, Government is committed to rebuilding all the destroyed houses and also ensure that the Security Agencies together with the Minerals Commission undertake comprehensive investigations to determine the actual cause of the accident and institute measures for the prevention of any future occurrence and sanction any persons held responsible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"720\" height=\"572\" src=\"http:\/\/phma.gov.gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/IMG-20220128-WA0006.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2267\" srcset=\"https:\/\/phma.gov.gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/IMG-20220128-WA0006.jpg 720w, https:\/\/phma.gov.gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/IMG-20220128-WA0006-300x238.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He added that he was accompanied by the Works and Housing Minister Hon. Isaac Dasmani(Ph.D.) briefed them on the resettlement site prepared to accommodate the displaced persons comprising twenty (20) of Eight (8) person tents, Fifteen (15) of twelve (12) person tents, a Community Center, Bathrooms\/Lavatory, Kitchen and Health center, as well as Poly tanks installed to supply water. Barbara Oteng-Gyasi and Hon. Isaac Dasmani(Ph.D.) for the prompt action to ensure the release of the area at Dumase by FGR for expeditious completion of the work on the resettlement site. In a related development, the Western Regional House of Chiefs paid a visit to Appiatse and the resettlement area to commiserate with Nana Atta Kwadwo Bremebi and the entire community of Appiatse and to also find out the extent of the devastation.
