As part of the Community Support Initiative Program which was introduced last year by the MCE for Prestea Huni Valley Municipal, Hon. Dr. Isaac Dasmani helped build more ultra-modern schools within his catchment area. Where the Municipal Assembly foots the cost of materials and the community provides manual Labour.
The Municipal Chief Executive Officer Yesterday, the 12th of April, 2022, presented to the people of Kwameniampa Community building materials such as 80 bags of cement, 1/2 tons of iron rods, 50 rods of 3/8, and two bundles of binding wire to support the construction of an ultra-modern KG block.
Dr. Dasmani quipped in his speech at the durbar held at their community center, about the needfulness of the community support initiative program. He cited Bayereagya, Gyimakrom, Adadekrom, and Aboso Breman as beneficiaries of the program and Works are ongoing.
The program will pave way for more schools to be built within the municipality. He again encouraged other communities to follow such a good initiative. He was however quick to add that only dedicated and hardworking communities should apply.
