The Prestea Huni Valley Municipal Assembly has commissioned an ultra-modern CHPS compound for the Beppo – Eshireso electoral area. The ceremony was attended by the MCE, MP, MCD, MHD, staff of the assembly, chiefs, and the people of Beppo Eshireso electoral area on 14th January 2022 at the premises of the CHPS compound. The project was funded by the Mineral Development Fund.
Speaking to the gathering Hon. Isaac Dasmani (Ph.D.), entreated the people of Beppo – Eshireso to access medical care at the CHPS compound first before they can move to any other facility for a referral. He said he was willing to support the facility to maintenance hence all faults beyond them should be reported on time to prevent deterioration. He used the opportunity to implore the people to go for their Covid 19 Jab as the cases in the municipal has increased. Dr. Dasmani assured the people that he has taken health care seriously. He said several CHPS compounds have been built, one is still ongoing whilst a new one will be constructed soon at Bondye and the one at Mbease Nsuta will be refurbished.
The Member of Parliament Hon. Robert Wisdom Cudjoe express his gratitude to the assembly for inviting him to the inaugural ceremony of the CHPS compound. He also advised the nurses to keep the facility clean and count on him for assistance. Finally, advise the good people of Beppo – Eshireso electoral area to use the facility before going to another facility for medical assistance.
The chiefs of Beppo Divisional area Nana Atta Kwadwo Brembi11 and the Chief of Eshreso divisional area Nana Kwame Simprepeh took the opportunity to thank the MCE and the health directorate for giving them, a CHPS compound because they have been crying for it for so long. They also entreat their people to make the facility their first point of call before moving to Bogoso or the nearest facility for health assistance. The chief of Eshireso told the staff who are going to work there to keep the facility clean and preserve the facility.
Municipal health director, Sampson Kwame Joseph at the occasion stated that he was s very happy about the accomplishment of the project, and thanked the assembly for that. He also entreated the people of Beppo and Eshireso to make the facility their first point of call to know their health condition first before going to the nearest and bigger facility if the situation is above the CHPS compound. He also used the chance to talk about Covid19, he pleaded with the people to go for their covid vaccine because the covid case in the municipality is on the rise. He also asked the communities to establish a health committee to keep an eye on the facility.
