Earlier today, following the directives of the Municipal Chief Executive for Prestea Huni valley Municipality, Hon. Isaac Dasmani(Ph.D.), the Municipal NADMO Secretariat led by Mr.Francis Abeiku Yankah together, and the local committee distributed relief items to the victims of Appiatse at the relief camp. This was as a result of the strategic measures put in place to restore the victims’ lives to normalcy. As such relief items were dispensed to the victims based on the number of persons in a household.

Earlier, distribution of Mattresses, Coal pots, bed sheets, sponges, towels, toothpaste, toothbrushes, clothes, buckets, and cups, today bags of rice, tomatoes, cooking oils, beverages, diapers, and other sustenance were also given to them to opportune them for the preparation of their food. Hon. Dasmani used the opportunity to thank individuals and organizations for their massive contributions in any kind to assist in the restoration of the lives of the good people of Appiatse and ask for more of such support as he receives items bestowed by the workers of Prestea Bogoso Gold Mine.
