HON. ISAAC DASMANI RECEIVES ROAD MINISTER AT APPIATSE RELIEF CAMP

The Municipal Chief Executive for Prestea Huni valley Municipality, Hon Isaac Dasmani received delegates from the road ministry led by Hon. Kwasi Amoako-Atta (Minister of Roads and highways) on Thursday,  3rd day of February 2022 at Appiatse Relief Camp. Speaking on behalf of the emissaries, Hon. Kwasi Amoako-Attah apprised the good people of Appiatse that Government is committed to restoring the lives of the victims and that warranted him today to inspect the ongoing sectional rehabilitation of  Bogoso to Ayamfuri road that was damaged by the explosion. He applauded the contractor for the quality work done and encouraged him to expedite action on the construction to complete the road by the next fortnight

The Director-general of Natural Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) Nana Agyemang Prempeh eulogized MCE Hon. Isaac Dasmani for his unwavering dedication and measures outlined with the local relief committee to curb the menace of the explosion after the incident and added he will continue to lobby for relief items from organizations to support  Victims. On behalf of the community, Nana Kwame _Asamoah(Tufohene_ of Beppoh Divisional chief)) extended his gratitude to the Government for the good gestures shown to them since the occurrence of the disaster. MCE Hon.Dasmani(Ph.D.) thanked the road minister and other organizations for the swift response and attention over the issue so far and pledged them to ensure judicious distribution and use of the relief items by the victims.

Accompanying The emissaries from the Ministry of Road was the Western Regional Minister Hon. Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah and Nana Agyeman Prempeh(Director general, NADMO). In a related Development, Honourable Dasmani received assorted relief items from the US embassy, China embassy and poly tank Ghana limited for the victims of the Appiatse explosion.
