HON. ISAAC DASMANI (PHD) CELEBRATES MUNICIPAL EDUCATION DIRECTOR AS SHE RETIRES.

On Wednesday 30th day of March 2022 the workaholic Municipal Chief Executive for Prestea Huni-Valley Municipal Assembly Hon. Isaac Dasmani (PhD) joined the education directorate to organize a remarkable ceremony to honor the Municipal Education Director Madam Mary Vida Kwofie as she retires from her official mandate as the Director for the Municipal Education directorate.

MCE Hon. Isaac Dasmani(PhD) started addressing the gathering by stating a special congratulatory and farewell message from the Immediate Past Member of Parliament for Prestea Huni-Valley, Hon. Barbara Oteng-Gyasi indicated the immense support and collaboration she enjoyed from Mrs. Kwofie during her tenure as a legislator in the execution of educational programs and projects. She assured Mrs. Kwofie that she would continue through the Wassa Hemaa Foundation to implement Educational Projects to improve the standard of education in the Municipality and presented to her a cash award of Four Thousand Ghana Cedis (Ghc4,000.00) from Hon. Barbara Oteng-Gyasi.

Hon.Dasmani(PhD) expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Mrs. Vida Mary Kwofie for her immense dedication and cordially working with him to improve the quality of education in the Municipality and supported her with an undisclosed amount of money and a special Citation in her honor.

He used the opportunity to highlight his intention to construct an ultra-modern Education and Health Directorate with a 500 seating capacity auditorium for the two directorates for which the contract had already been awarded and construction set to begin very soon.

Mrs. Mary Vida Kwofie expressed her profound appreciation for the acknowledgments given by the leaders of the Municipality and recounted some significant contributions by the former and current leaders of the Municipality such as the refurbishment of residential accommodation for the directorate by Hon. Mozart Kweku Owuh, payment of the huge outstanding fuel debt, distribution of PPEs, provision of motorbikes, Mathematical set, laptops, printers, lobbying for the construction of ultra-modern ICT block, and KG blocks by Hon.Barbara Oteng Gyasi, provision of PPEs, construction of ultra-modern classroom blocks with Headteachers Bungalow, Payment of mock examination fees for Junior High Schools, and other technical support by MCE Hon. Isaac Dasmani (PhD). and encouraged them to continue to do more for the Municipality.

The glamorous send-off ceremony for Mrs. Vida Mary Kwofie was climaxed in the joyous moment she cut her birthday cake with the guests in celebration of her 60th birthday. May she enjoy a restful retirement.
